The West Virginia University Chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology is a student organization dedicated to the awareness and prevention of hearing loss, as well as the support of students and clinicians involved in the field of audiology.

White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat Ceremony is organized by the School of Medicine and takes place each August to honor and recognize the achievements of the second year AuD class. Families, staff, and students are encouraged to participate.

Shamrock 5k Run & Walk!

Date: March 29th 2025

Time: 9AM

Location: WVU Evansdale Campus 5k Route 2001 Rec Center Dr. Morgantown, WV 26506

WVU SAA is hosting a Shamrock 5k Run & Walk this March! Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners. If you register to run, walk, or donate prior to March 7th you will be guaranteed a custom shamrock t-shirt!

A portion of the proceeds will be given to the WVU Speech and Hearing Clinic to Assist patients in need of receiving audiological care.

Tinnitus Awareness Day

February 3rd, 2025

The American Tinnitus Association hosted a Texas Roadhouse fundraiser on the 3rd of February to raise awareness on tinnitus intervention, treatment, and research. Thank you to Dr. Morse for inviting SAA to join in on the celebration of Tinnitus Awareness Day.
