WVU Student Academy of Audiology

The West Virginia University Chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology is a student organization with an administrative board of second year AuD students. The organization is dedicated to the awareness and prevention of hearing loss, as well as the support of students and clinicians involved in the field of audiology.

White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat Ceremony is a student-organized event that takes place each fall to honor and recognize the achievements of the first year AuD class. Families, staff, and students are encouraged to participate. 

Vera Bradley

Vera Bradley Bingo

Vera Bradley Bingo takes place each November and allows the organization to raise travel funds for the American Academy of Audiology conference in the spring. Information for this year's event:

When: November 5th, 2017
Doors open at 12:30 PM, bingo begins at 1:00 PM
Where: Gold Room in Lyon Tower
Cost: $25 for 20 rounds of bingo
Prizes include various Vera Bradley bags filled with themed items

MountainEAR 5k

This race occurs each spring and encourages the community to participate in order to promote the awareness of hearing loss, as well as raise money for patients in need at the WVU Hearing Center.
